Sattar Memon M.D., F.A.C.P. is Associate Professor of Medicine, Emeritus at Brown University. He specializes in the practice and education of Cancer Medicine. He has also published two novels – The Ashram and Soul’s Fury, which deal with the spirituality of life, love and death as it relates to a practicing physician. His first novel, The Ashram, was acquired for movie rights. Dr. Memon is an author of several peer-reviewed cancer-related articles and short story compilations, “Tales of Faith” and “Overcoming Cancer with Faith Medicine & Miracles.” In addition he has also published two books on breast cancer: “Breast Cancer Breakthroughs: Living Longer” and the latest edition “Breast Cancer: 150, Latest & Illustrated Questions and Answers,” available on amazon Kindle. He has won “Outstanding Physicians Recognition Award” at Brown University, the “National Life Saver Hall of Fame” award for the best Public Educator in Rhode Island, awarded by the American Cancer Society, and “Distinguished Teacher for the last 20 years” at Brown University.
